Happy Noodle House

Very authentic restaurant with great service and delicious food. So many things to choose from but we did the Chive pockets as an appetizer and the Beijing zha Jiang noddle and pork with spicy chili for the mains. The noodles were quite good and the pork sauce was perfect. Portions were good all though the chive pockets were a bit expensive for just 2 but they were good. The pork with chilis was great and we're actually quite spicy. Definitely recommend.

Happy noodle house makes me very happy this was my first time trying tan tan noodles and it was LIFE CHANGING. they are the perfect amount of spicy (I don’t usually do well w spice). The sweet owner also gave us scissors to cut the noodles. The pan friend buns are SO good.

Folks, I don’t normally write google reviews. In fact, I had to figure out how to write one just for this review. My partner and I went here last night and got the chili sizzle (?) noodles and the Tan tan noodles. All we talked about for the entirety of the meal was how good the food was. Like, we didn’t speak on any other topic. I woke up this morning still thinking about these noodles. We popped around Vancouver this morning and had the intention of finding a new restaurant to try but we ended up here again for lunch. My boyfriend cried tears of joy. I said “this might be my favorite meal on planet earth” unprompted. We took leftover tan tan noodles over the US border and just ate them in the car, cold, and with our fingers. I’m not sure what they’re putting in the food here but it’s actually insane.

The Best Hand-Pulled Noodles in North America Happy Noodle House absolutely delivered. From the service to the food, everything was top-notch. The Beijing Zha Jiang Mian, soup dumplings, and chow mein were all incredible, but the real standout? The hand-pulled noodles, easily the best I've had anywhere I've traveled in North America, hands down. The flavors were bold, the textures were perfect, and every dish was clearly made with skill and care. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had a great experience from start to finish. If you love authentic, high quality noodles, this is the place. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Vancouver!

Hands down some of the best Chinese food in Vancouver! The amount of flavor they pack in each dish is unreal. I’d highly recommend trying their Tan Tan Noodle, Spicy & Tangy Dumplings, Eggplant with chili & garlic and the fried green beans. Each dish was incredible with very generous serving sizes! The service was also very quick here.

We found this place on the first night of our 3-night stay and ended up eating here a second time—it was that good. Both visits, I ordered the Beef with Vegetables in Chili Oil Broth—the spiciness was perfect for my tastes, and the server was very attentive to my need for drinking water refills . I recommend getting a side of dumplings to share . Wish we could get the same experience closer to home!

The food here is amazing. Great hole in the wall. I loved the tomato egg knife shaved noodles. Perfectly flavored and noodles were amazing texture. The eggplant appetizer was also delicious.

Amazing!!! We had a couple of days in vancouver and found this little gem on Google, small place, little rough around the edges on the decor but that normally promises good things and this place does not disappoint, very friendly staff, brought water while we pondered over the menu, went with the schezuan beef noodles, pork steamed dumplings and chilli wontons, the beef noodles had so much flavour the beef was tender and the hand pulled noodles were the best ive ever had, the Pork dumplings were cooked perfectly had a little soup inside and tasted amazing but the star of the show were the chilli wontons, absolutely phenomenal, not too spicy great flavour cooked perfectly, the portions are large so go with an appetite,if I lived in the area this would be my go to place, the staff were friendly and polite and as we left there was a que forming out the door with hold testament to how well received this place is in the area, they do take out and had a constant stream of customers and delivery drivers picking up orders, 10/10 definitely pay this place a visit.
